- NAVSUP Weapons Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Mechanicsburg is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to repair and/or modify the item as specified within this document.\ \ The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.\ \ The Government intends to solicit for the evaluation and repair of: NSN 2815-01-533-3284, part number 1P348318LA, Cylinder Head, Diesel.\ \ The Government does not own the data or the rights to the data for this item. It has been determined to be uneconomical to buy the data or rights to the data. It is uneconomical to reverse engineer the part.\ \ All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within 5 days after date of publication of this Sources Sought Notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.\ Approval of a repair source is required by a government cognizant technical authority. NAVSUP WSS will not delay award while any source approval is pending.\ \ The government will NOT pay for any information submitted. \ POC is Randy E.
