Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. Market Research is being conducted to determine interest. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for Market Research purposes and to determine whether to set-aside the requirement for Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Woman Owned Small Business and HUBZone. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Richmond, VA is trying to determine interest and whether to set-aside a contract to collect and interpret organ (Heart only) donor information, and use criteria set by the Transplant Surgeons at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Richmond, VA to evaluate the donor organs (Heart only) in order to identify potential recipients for Heart Transplants. The expected performance period is March 1, 2019 through February 28, 2020; with four option years (if exercised). The NAICS code is 621999. The size standard is $14.0 Million. This is a Sources Sought notice only. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The scope of the acquisition is to: Furnish all labor, supplies, equipment and qualified personnel for coverage 24 hours per day, 7 days per week to provide organ (Heart only) evaluation services for all offers received from the facility s organ procurement contractor. The on-call Transplant Surgeon at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Richmond, VA will make the final decision on the acceptance of the organ (Heart only). If you are a qualified business that is interested in performing these services, please notify our office of your intent. In response, please include the following: (a) a capabilities statement; (b) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope; (c) Socioeconomic status. Your response is required by 15:00 on November 28, 2018. All capable Small Businesses are encouraged to respond. The Government will not pay for any information solicited.
