THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The NCO 12, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, 115 S. 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee, WI 53214, is performing market research. This Sources Sought is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government now. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors, including Small Businesses, Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned-Small Business (SDVOSB) vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification System NAICS code 339112 (Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing) size standard is 1,000 employees. The Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center located in Milwaukee, WI 53295-1000 has a need for a CADD Solis ambulatory infusion pump. Currently, the Milwaukee VA Medical Center operates and is using the CADD Solis Pump, Model 2110 with accompanying accessories. These 6 new CADD Solis (brand name or equal) Infusion Pumps being requested in this Sources sought MUST use the same drug library, drug cassettes, and other accompanying accessories required for pump functions. Currently, the software operating the existing pumps is the CADD Solis Medical Safety Software License Version 3 (part: 21-2199-0301-01). All offers submitted for this request must work seamlessly with the existing CADD Solis Pumps and coordinating software already in use as noted above. Specifications/salient characteristics required to meet Governments need: CADD-Solis Model 2110-Yellow Ambulatory Infusion Pump characteristics: 1. General Specifications a. Ability to deliver medication and patient can be mobile b. Smart pump technology dose error reduction software (DERS) available Initial set-up Dose limits Indication of overridden soft limits Configurable protocol library (therapy, qualifier, drug, unit/concentration, dose limits, drug delivery parameters) Displays protocol and drug names at all times Tracks limit overrides and programming changes TALL/short man display style Status bar display 1. Reservoir volume status, delivery status, and power status at all times unless an alarm is present 2. Indicators color coded for visual indication as well as audible Screen title bar Therapy, qualifier, drug, concentration/units and keypad lock status displayed at all times except during alarm/alert or viewing reports On-board library holds minimum 500 therapy protocols Ability to have graphs and reports providing trending data and delivery for each patient c. Ability to have programmed intermittent bolus (PIB), patient controlled analgesia (PCA), clinician bolus, and continuous delivery d. Ability to deliver medication via intravenous, intra-arterial, subcutaneous, intraperitoneal, in close proximity to nerves, into intraoperative site (soft tissue, body cavity/surgical wound site), epidural space, and subarachnoid e. Ability to have adjustable alarm/alert volumes f. Transtelephonic data for status check and programming g. Ability to use IV bag, cassette, and syringe h. Alarms for air-in-line, flow error, system malfunction, empty reservoir, infusion nearing completion, and depleted battery i. Alarm levels at high, medium, low, and informational only j. Ability to print event logs with up to 5,000 events k. Three power sources Rechargeable battery pack AC power 4AA batteries l. Ability to self-test hardware and software m. Must be able to be cleaned with hospital cleaning solutions n. Ability to program preventative maintenance reminder o. Ability to customize up to 3 levels of security 2. Product Specifications a. Maximum size not to exceed: 1.6 x 4 x 5 b. Weight not to exceed: 21oz (including 4AA batteries, excluding other accessories) c. Delivery Specifications Dose accuracy within 6% Reservoir Volume: 0 = 9999mL, programmable in 1mL, displays 0.1mL increments Programming Units: mL, mg, and mcg Concentration (mg/mL) Dose accuracy within 6% Reservoir Volume: 0 = 9999mL, programmable in 1mL, displays 0.1mL increments Programming Units: mL, mg, and mcg Concentration (mg/mL) v.
