Description
The Hostage Rescue Team (HRT), Critical Incident Response Group (CIRG) is in need of specialized drivers training to support the HRT mobility program. HRT's requirement for its mobility program is to train operators that are familiar with driving almost any platform in almost any environment found CONUS. HRT cannot predict what its next mission will require and where, so it requires its operators to receive a diverse training program that can cover as many of the requirements as possible. Due to limited training environments at the FBI Academy (asphalt road track only). This training has to be conducted at outside venues and with outside trainers that have very specialized and applied techniques and experiences. Research has shown that the diverse environment and on the spot maintenance requirements of rally racing complement the unique needs of HRTs mobility program. This request is to fulfill the requirement to provide basic and advanced specialized drivers training (rally) to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Critical Incident Response Group (CIRG) Division. Requirements - Manual and automatic transmission vehicles in FWD, AWD, RWD, and HCG. - Multiple surface courses - Instructor cadre with professional Rally racing background - Instructors with a minimum of five (5) years of rally driving instructor experience - Four (4) seasons of weather conditions - Offensive driving course (including pitting and ramming) - Night training with night vision goggles - 2 to 1 instructor student ratio - On site repair and maintenance - Course duration (5 day basic / 5 day advanced / 2 day refresher) NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (15-NOV-2018); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
