Description

The purpose of this amendment to the solicitation is to 1) address questions from prospective vendors and 2) revise language in the first paragraph under the Price Schedule heading on page 2 of the solicitation. 1) Question 1: [C]an the contracting team please confirm the rates that vendors are to use ? Answer 1: The applicable wage rates are requirements are set forth in FAR 52.222-41 Service Contract Labor Standards (Aug 2018). The rates listed under FAR 52.222-42 Statement of Equivalent Rates for Federal Hires (May 2014) are for informational purposes only and they are not a wage determination. Question 2: [P]lease clarify what needs, if any, the cemetery will have for interments and excavations to be performed by the contractor? Answer 2: None. Question 3: Are there local Boy Scout troops and other volunteer organizations who have routinely performed this service in the past? Answer 3: Yes. 2) The language in the first paragraph under the Price Schedule heading on page 2 of the solicitation will change from, Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, material, equipment, tools and supplies to complete grave excavations, interments, and grounds and facility maintenance services to maintain the Louisiana National Cemetery located at 303 W Mount Pleasant Road, Zachary, LA 70791, following National Cemetery Administration standards. Contract period will consist of a base period from January 1, 2019 (or date of contract award), through September 30, 2019, with up to four (4) one-year options to extend the term of the contract through September 30, 2023 To Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, material, equipment, tools and supplies to complete grounds and facility maintenance services to maintain the Louisiana National Cemetery located at 303 W Mount Pleasant Road, Zachary, LA 70791, following National Cemetery Administration standards. Contract period will consist of a base period from January 1, 2019 (or date of contract award), through September 30, 2019, with up to four (4) one-year options to extend the term of the contract through September 30, 2023.
