This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purposes of this Sources Sought Notice is to determine interest and capability of prospective contractors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 339113 (Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing). VA has a need for two temperature controlled sterile storage cabinets. The SBB Post Sterile Storage Cabinet, SSC4400 reflects the characteristics and level of quality that will satisfy the Government s minimum specified requirements. - Hospital Grade Stainless Steel - Integral Mechanical Cooler to maintain 66-75F payload temperature set point - Integral steam humidifier in the payload storage area to be used with de-mineralized sterile water bottles - Condensate collection system using collection bottles - Built-in recirculation fans and HEPA filtration system to ISO 7 levels - Must be on Casters - UPS battery backup - See through glass doors - Min/Max 4 stainless steel pullout, adjustable height shelves - Onboard DDC control system with a digital display for monitoring temperature, humidity and status - 120V with Hospital grade cord - Pressure monitor with alarm - Capability to interface with VA network environmental monitoring system, i.e. TempTrak - 120-1-60 Power with 120V Hospital Grade Cord If you intend to submit an equal product for evaluation, please ensure that you are in total compliance with FAR Clause 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999) prior to responding to this Request for Information. The Contracting Officer will evaluate equal products on the basis of information furnished by the offeror or identified in the offer and reasonably available to the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for locating or obtaining any information not identified in the offer. Interested firms that can meet the requirements stated above should respond in writing and include at a minimum, ALL of the following information: Company name: Address: Point of contact (name/title/telephone number/e-mail address). FSS Contract number, if applicable: DUNS number: Tax ID number: Indication of which business category (SDVOSB, VOSB, Small Business or Large Business) for which the organization qualifies. A capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to provide the requirement depicted above. If offering equipment as a distributor, provide a memo or correspondence from the manufacturer which proves the authorization as a distributor of the manufacturer s products. If an authorized distributor, a statement explaining the added value provided with this purchase if any. Reference the product, facility and sources sought number on all correspondence regarding this announcement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 339113 and the small business size standard is 750 employees.
