Description

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, hereby gives notice of their intent to award a contract to Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) of 1401 Pacific Ave., Dallas, TX 75202 on a sole source basis utilizing FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition, procedures in accordance with 41 USC 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. OCC has a need for transit subsidy and the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is the only source that can satisfy this need. DART offers a cost-effective transportation program with an extensive network of transits to include Light Rail, Trinity Railway Express commuter rail, bus routes and paratransit services. DART also provide a GoPass app to assist users with navigating the multitude of transit services and to plan their destinations. This is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received in writing by November 13, 2018 12:00 pm EST, will be considered by the Government. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly be able to provide the services outlined in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
