- Description
- Looking to award a non-exclusive license agreement for a firm to operate and manage a retail drug store and full-service pharmacy branch of its company in designated space within the Pentagon. It is the intention of the Department of Defense Concessions Committee (DoDCC), a Non-Appropriated Fund Instrumentality (NAFI), to award a non-exclusive license agreement for a firm to operate and manage a retail drug store and full-service pharmacy branch of its company in designated space within the Pentagon. The successful offeror will be required to offer drug store retail items, convenience food and snacks, cosmetics, pharmacy items, seasonal flu vaccines, greeting cards, periodicals, tobacco products (optional) and a full-service pharmacy with certified pharmacy personnel. Additionally, there is the potential to offer a small scale type of medical clinic in the proposed space to perform services such as blood pressure checks, dietician, tobacco cessation, etc. The base period of performance (PoP) will be five (5) years with two (2) five-year (5-year) option periods subject to mutual agreement. All questions concerning this notice should be submitted electronically via email to the Points of Contact as indicated in this announcement. All information pertaining to this announcement, including technical (or other) questions and answers will be provided to/through the Contracting Officer ONLY to ensure equal distribution of information to interested parties via Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at https://www.fbo.gov. Interested companies must submit an expression of interest and a statement of qualifications/experience (3-page limit) to the Contracting Office no later than January 4, 2019. The DoDCC anticipates issuance of the solicitation for this requirement in late February 2019.
