- Pre-Solicitation Notice - Replace/Upgrade Existing Lighting Protection Systems (LPS's) Department of the Air Force, Air Force Space Command, 30 CONS, 1515 Iceland Ave, Room 150, Vandenberg AFB, CA 93437-5212 The Air Force intends to issue a solicitation, Request for XUMU 15-1231B Replace/Upgrade Existing Lighting Protection Systems (LPS's) on Various VTS Facilities on Vandenberg AFB, California, on or about 20 November 2018. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, and materials to replace or upgrade existing Lighting Protection Systems. The Award is contemplated as a competitive Small business Set- aside. The NAICS code is 238290 and the size standard is $15 Mil. This acquisition will be procured pursuant to the requirements in FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation and FAR part 36 Construction and Architect - Engineer Contracts. All potential offerors are reminded that in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.204-7, System for Award Management (SAM), lack of registration in the SAM will make an offeror ineligible for contract award. Additional information or postings will be posted for viewing on FedBizOpps at https://www.fbo.gov/. Notice to potential offeror(s)/supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date for receipt of proposals. In the event the government cancels this solicitation, the government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror of any cost. NOTE: It is the responsibility of all potential offerors to monitor these sites for release of any future notices and/or release of the solicitation and amendments thereto.
