Description
Participants planning to attend the site visit must fill out and submit the attached site visit access form and submit to the Contract Specialist, Marcel Hull, within a minimum of 2 business days of the site visit date. This form must be filled out and submitted for all individuals who will physically be at the site visit for prospective offerors. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials and perform all operations necessary for restroom renovations at Crane NSWC building 3168 as specified herein located in Crane, IN. LOCATION: Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, (NSWC Crane) Code 1021, Bldg. 2 300 Highway 361 Crane, IN 47522-5001 This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business, NAICS 236220 (Size Standard: $36.5 million). Note: The contract award will be based on Lowest Price. Method of Payment under this contract will be Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to a commercial bank account specified by the Contractor. Quotes are due 27 November 2018, 10:00 AM Eastern Time. Please submit quotes to Marcel.D.Hull@usace.army.mil. Fax submittals will not be accepted. Louisville, KY 40202 Rm. 821; ATTN: Marcel Hull A formal site visit has been scheduled for 7 November 2018, 12:00 PM Eastern Time (ET). (a) Participants will meet at-- 300 Highway 361 Crane, IN 47522 POC: Robin McFarland (812-854-8531) and Jeff Padgett (812-854-5294) (b) Participants planning to attend the site visit must fill out and submit the attached site visit access form and submit to the Contract Specialist, Marcel Hull, within a minimum of 2 business days of the site visit date. This form must be filled out and submitted for all individuals who will physically be at the site visit for prospective offerors. ALERT: You must submit a notarized letter appointing the authorized Entity Administrator before your registration will be activated. This requirement now applies to both new and existing entities. Effective 29 April 2018, the notarized letter process is now mandatory on all CURRENT registrants at SAM who have a requirement to update data on their SAM record. The notarized letter is mandatory and is required before the GSA Federal Service Desk (FSD) will activate the entity's registration. All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (www.SAM.gov) prior to award of a contract. All proposed contractors are highly encouraged to review FAR Clause 52.232-33 Payments by Electronic Funds Transfer - System for Award Management, which indicates "All payments by the Government under this contract shall be made by electronic funds transfer (EFT)." Those not currently registered can obtain registration by going to the website http://www.SAM.gov. The process can usually be completed from 24 to 48 hours after submission. Contractors will need to obtain a Unique Entity Identifier number for processing their registration. If you do not already have a Unique Entity Identifier number, one can be obtained from Dun and Bradstreet by calling 1-800-333-0505. Refer to www.SAM.gov for information formerly found in CCR, EPLS,ORCA and FedReg. Please begin the registration process immediately in order to avoid delay of the contract award should your firm be selected.
