Description
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Procurement Office is currently conducting market research to identify companies capable of and qualified to provide daily commute and special needs bus transportation services in the Europe West District, Brussels and SHAPE, Belgium. Prospective contractor(s) shall provide all personnel, supervision, services, vehicles, adaptive seat devices, and equipment necessary to transport students and other authorized individuals safely to and from their designated schools and alternate sites for classes and authorized school activities, to include after-school activity runs, career practicum, or other curricular shuttle runs. Required service in Brussels is daily commute service. Required service in SHAPE is special needs transportation and activity runs. The period of performance of services will begin 1 August 2019. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for conducting market research and does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP), Invitation for Bids (IFB), Request for Quotations (RFQ), and does not obligate the Government to any current or future commitments. The Government will not pay/reimburse any costs or charges resulting from contractors' responses to this RFI. If your firm is interested, capable, and qualified to provide these services in one or both of these geographic locations, please submit written information supporting this capability and identify what geographic location your firm would be interested in. Capability statements shall consist of no more than 5 pages and include a cover page with the company's name, business mailing address, point of contact, telephone number, Duns & Bradstreet Number (DUNS), and Commercial And Government Entity/NATO Code (CAGE/NCAGE). Submissions and inquiries must be sent electronically to stephene.parry@hq.dodea.edu no later than 4:00 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) on 30 November 2018. Vendor's e-mail message shall state "HE1254-19-R-Belgium" in the subject line. Telephone calls regarding this RFI will not be accepted. For the purpose of this acquisition, the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 485410, size standard $15M. Please note, while proposals from vendors not registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database will be evaluated, only businesses with an Active SAM registration will be eligible to receive contracts with the Department of Defense Education Activity.
