Description
This is a sources sought request for potential vendors to respond to this requirement to determine the market for Annual Preventive Maintenance Inspections Service on all Beds for the Eastern Kansas Health Care System located at Leavenworth VAMC Topeka VAMC 4101 S. 4th Street 2200 Gage BLVC Leavenworth, KS 66048 Topeka, KS 66622 Annual inspections will be done in accordance with manufacturers requirements for each model of bed as listed in attachment. The cost of travel, labels, documentation and labor needed to perform inspection will be included in the price. These inspections will specifically include the following equipment operational checks in addition to any special manufacturer requirements: Brakes on casters/wheels. Rails and rail locks/latches. Hydraulic operations and check for hydraulic fluid leaks if equipped. Mattress condition. Test full travel of head and/or foot elevating sections and extensions. Battery checks Electrical Test in accordance with NFPA 99. Motors, drive trains and steering wheels if so equipped. Lubricate all points required on annual inspections per manufacturer. Test all buttons, control knobs, and levers used in controlling the stretcher. Lights, LEDs or other indicators functioning properly. Calibration/Verification of scale operation utilizing pre-measured weights. Check of all cables and wires for wear, cracks, or breaks or broken retaining clips. General condition of the bed (cracks, broken parts, frayed cords) Label affixed to each bed identifying when the next inspection is due. Labels will be able to withstand normal cleaning without degradation of the date. Documentation showing all tests/functions results for each bed. Inventory Below: Contractor shall provide socioeconomic status and classification (SDVOSB, SB, VOSB, etc.) The NAICS Code is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance and the small business standard is 20.5 Million.
