**********************Amendment 0001 10/18/2018************************ ***Update Exhibit A & clarification that this is a Total Small Business Set-Aside******* This is an SSC Pacific combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and is a total small business set- aside. Competitive quotes are being requested under N66001-19-Q-0014. NAICS code is 541330 Note #3 (Marine Engineering) and business size standard is $38.5M. Service requirement for Sea Motion Analysis and Installation Plan for Staging Stand with Test Equipment Installed for use on the Pacific Tugboat Palaemon PTS-270 Barge. This work will include: PTS-270 Barge motion and loading analysis of the Staging Stand w/ Test Equipment installed. PTS-270 Barge Installation Drawings for securing the Staging Stand w/ Test Equipment installed Exhibit A for the above drawings is attached. The Sea Dragon project is responsible for providing a loading analysis and installation plan for a large piece of equipment, Staging Stand w/ Test Equipment installed, that must be safely secured a project contracted barge, Palaemon PTS-270. The barge is under contract to the government via a contract via John's Hopkins University, Applied Physics Lab. The barge is being supplied and mobilized by the owning company, Pacific Tugboat Service (PTS), San Diego, CA. SSC Pacific has been tasked by the government sponsor to ensure PTS installs the Staging Stand w/ Test Equipment installed onto the Palaemon PTS-270 Barge safely. Offers shall identify the labor categories, number of hours, unburdened labor rates, indirects and profit if any, in an excel spreadsheet. Location of work: SSCPAC San Diego, CA Period of Performance: 60 days from the day of award Basis for award: The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price purchase order.
