- Description
- The Defense Threat Reduction Agency is seeking sources capable of providing a water conditioning system for an existing batch plant located at the White Sands Missile Range. The system specifications for the water conditioning system are as follows: -All electric and capable of operating off of 230v and 460v. -Include (2) 10 ton heat pumps, each with independent circuits. -Include compressor crankcase heaters to increase compressor life. -Be able to operate from 10 degrees Fahrenheit to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. -Be able to produce 35 degree Fahrenheit water in chilling mode. -Be able to produce 130 degree Fahrenheit water in heating mode. -All water circulation piping are heat taped. -Automated capability to maintain tank temperature once desired temperature is reached. -Be able to withstand extreme weather conditions common to central New Mexico. -Trailer mounted for portability. -Include 12,000 gallon water storage tank or larger capacity. -Be easily switched between cool and heat modes. -Operate off of electrical power only. -Not incorporate any propane or other fossil fuels. -Water storage tank insulated such that 35 or 130 degree water, once achieved, can be easily maintained. -Be able to operate using extremely hard water typically found in central New Mexico without adverse effect such as clogging, long or frequent downtime to clean the system, or reduced performance due to restricted flow. -Provided with one year entire system warranty covering labor and parts; five year warranty on parts. -Delivery of system, training, and initial startup within 12 weeks.
