- Description
- Flyer Date: 28-29 November 2018 THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. THIS IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. About NSWC PHD: Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) is one of ten surface and undersea warfare centers and our mission is to provide test and evaluation, systems engineering, integrated logistics support, in-service engineering, business services, and integration of surface ship weapons, combat systems, and warfare systems. NSWC PHD is the designated lead for implementing the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) of the Future initiative. It is a crucial time to be on the edge of a technological renaissance especially as we continue to support a growing U.S. Navy fleet. We all need to be more networked, more talented, more agile, and more responsive to meet the fleet's needs. About the Event: The next ISEA of the Future event will be held at Port Hueneme Division on Nov. 28-29, 2018. This session's theme, "Digital Transformation," will focus on leveraging digital technologies that will result in organizational transformation, improving the way we support the warfighter. Similar to the forum in August, NSWC PHD would like to invite industry from across the nation to participate and share discussions with warfare center personnel regarding the below topics. Topics: - Data Science: The use of artificial intelligence and predictive analytic technologies that can analyze large data sets to identify trends, identify issues, and predict failures before they happen, with the ultimate objective of enabling a proactive casualty support community. - Immersive Technologies: Leveraging immersive technologies such as virtual and augmented reality to help transform the training, maintenance and technical assistance techniques that support Navy and DoD warfare systems. If you, your company, academic institution, or government organization is interested in participating, or would like to provide insight on the above topics, please join us for a lively discussion about the implementation of new technologies and future steps to achieve this vision.
