Description

Notice of Intenet (NOI) to Sole Source Date: October 15, 2018 The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Jinfonet Software Inc.'s located at 2275 Research Blvd., Suite 220; Rockville, MD 20850 for the maintenance of JReport Designer and Enterprise Server. This software is proprietary only to Jinfonet Software Inc. who is the sole source provider of and has access to the source code necessary to provide the required maintenance subscription that is comprised of subscription upgrades, fixes and patches via telephone, internet and email support for the period of 12 months. There are no resellers. The authority for this acquisition is set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) "Soliciting from a Single Source." Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. This is not a request for quotation, and the Government does not intend to pay for information received. A determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All questions and submissions in response to this notice must be submitted electronically via email to Stephanie.L.Harrison@ssa.gov by 5:00pm EST, Wednesday October 18, 2018. Telephone calls regarding this matter will be not be accepted nor returned.
