- The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 3 NSNs with the item description Parts Kit, Gun. An Indefinite Quantity Long-Term Contract with a three year base period and 2 option years is anticipated. The total duration base plus option years shall not exceed 5 years. Small Business Size Standard is 1000. Solicitation will be Unrestricted. Other than full & open competition applies. The solicitation will be available on October 26, 2018 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/ Hard copies are not available. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. This solicitation is being issued under the First Destination Transportation (FDT) program. For FDT program transportation requirements, see DLA Proc Note C16, C15 and Proc Note C17, First Destination Transportation (FDT) Program - Shipments Originating Outside the contiguous United States (OCONUS). Additional information about FDT can be found on the FDT website (http://www.dla.mil/FDTPI/). Inspection/Acceptance requirements will be noted on RFP. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
