- Sole Source Justification PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-19-Q-0120. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) requires the sole source purchase of TI14 Hardware Disk Drives, TI14-HDD03, 900GB 2.5HDD with carrier from Germane Systems of Chantilly, Virginia. This item is part of the AN/BYG-1 (V)8 and Germane Systems b uys server components and assembles the servers so the servers used in our Combat Systems are in fact not available anywhere else. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government, see attached sole source justification. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The resulting contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order. Required delivery for this requirement is 7 weeks after receipt of order (ARO). CLIN DESCRIPTION QTY 0001 TI14-HDD03, 900GB 2.5HDD with carrier P/N 700599-07 101 Each This is an unrestricted requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334112. The Size Standard is 1250 employees. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005- 100. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. The provision at FAR 52.212-3 (ALS I), Offeror Representations and Certifications – Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. FAR clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions – Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders – Commercial Items apply. DFARS Provision 252.213-7000, Notice to Prospective Suppliers on Use of Supplier Performance Risk System in Past Performance Evaluations applies to this requirement. Quotes shall include complete product information, price, delivery terms, and the following additional information: point of contact (including phone number and email address), contractor CAGE Code, and contractor DUNS number. This solicitation requires registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award, pursuant to applicable regulations and guidelines.
