- The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to draft specifications and standards to accommodate a variety of design solutions and processes, and to encourage a broad vendor base. NAVSEA is preparing drafts MIL-DTL-XX654, Arc Fault Protection System, General Specification for; MIL-DTL-XX654/1, Photosensor, Arc Fault Protection System; and MIL-DTL-XX654/2, Continuous Thermal Monitoring Device, Arc Fault Protection System. Copies of these documents may be requested by sending an email to commandstandards@navy.mil with the document numbers in the subject line and a brief message requesting a copy of the documents. Please note that the review period ends 11/08/18. Those interested can check ASSIST Online at http://quicksearch.dla.mil/ for the final documents when they have been completed.
