CORRECTION: PARAGRAPH 2 ON PAGE 2 OF THE DRAFT SOLICITATION: THE ANTICIPATED ORDERING PERIOD IS FIVE YEARS FROM THE DATE OF AWARD. ************************************************************************************************************************* The Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to issue a solicitation for Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) for Iraq Ministry of Defense (MOD). The solicitation will be issued on a Full and Open Competitive basic and could result in multiple Firm-Fixed Price contracts. The resulting contract is expected to be a five year (one year Base Period, four one-year Option Periods) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). The objective of the Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) Award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract is to provide ACC-APG customer with knowledge based support services for requirements with VSAT related needs. This document describes the scope in providing capabilities to operate, sustain, support and expand Iraq's VSAT network as required under Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case IQ-B-ADP. At a high-level, the US Government is requesting from a Contractor (See SOW attached): A. Satellite bandwidth services for fixed and mobile users, B. Backup, OCONUS VSAT hub services, C. Internet Access over the VSAT network, D. Public IP Addresses, E. Satellite transition services, and F. Equipment related to transition The word Government in this document refers to the United States Government. The word customer refers to the Iraq Ministry of Defense. There is no solicitation available at this time. A draft Request for Proposal (RFP) is planned for release in near future; and formal solicitation release will follow after. The solicitation number will be W91CRB-18-R-5049 and will be entitled "Very small Aperture Terminal (VSAT)". When the RFP is released there could be a short suspense (under 30 days). The official release of the solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at the following address: https://www.fbo.gov/. The on-line version of the RFP will include all documents of the solicitation package. No hard copy of the solicitation will be issued. Amendments, if any, will be posted at the same location as the solicitation. The complete solicitation package, including amendments, should be received and reviewed prior to submitting a response. It is the responsibility of those responding to the solicitation to obtain all amendments and/or other applicable documents. Rem D.
