- Summary of Work for Industry Day SPECIAL NOTICE PRE ADVERTISEMENT SITE VISIT FOR FORT PECK GSU TRANSFORMER INSTALLATION This is an announcement for pre advertisement to be held at Fort Peck Dam. This notice does not constitute a solicitation. This announcement and the pre advertisement event are for planning purposes only. Response to this notice is strictly voluntary. The Government will not reimburse any party attending or participating for costs incurred for this event or marketing efforts. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, will host pre advertisement event for all businesses interested in the Fort Peck GSU Transformer Installation project. The intent of this pre advertisement meeting is threefold. First, to introduce the Fort Peck GSU Transformer Installation project to industry. Second, to provide a tour of the project site. Lastly, to solicit comments and information from industry. Draft plans and specifications will be posted to FBO on or about October 8, 2018. The Address for the pre bid site visit is: Power House 215 Yellowstone Road Fort Peck, MT 59223 Pre Advertisement Site Visit will be held: October 30, 2018 8:30 am - 12:30 pm Pre Advertisement Site Visit Attendance: The event is free of charge and all interested parties are invited to attend. Attendance is limited to two (2) representatives per company. To be allowed entrance to the event, you must provide the following information to John Palensky, john.a.palensky@usace.army.mil, and Dan Monahan, daniel.d.monahan@usace.army.mil NLT the dates provided below: 1. If visiting from a foreign country, provide the following information NLT October 5, 2018: (1) Full name, (2) Position and Affiliated Organization, (3) Scanned copy of passport. 2. All other Attendees, provide the following information NLT October 16, 2018: (1) Full Name and (2) Position and Affiliated Organization. **No cameras, phones or photos will be allowed. All phones and cameras must be left in vehicles. There will be no individual or unescorted tours** Pre Advertisement Meeting Questions and Comments: ALL inquiries and questions related to this Pre Advertisement Site Visit are to be submitted via Bidder Inquiry in ProjNet at (https://www.projnet.org) No Later Than (NLT) seven (7) days prior to the Pre Advertisement Site Visit. Project ID / Name/Bidder Inquiry Review: FPR1/Fort Peck Hydro Rehab/Fort Peck GSU Install Pre Advertisement Site Visit Solicitation Number: TBD Bidder Inquiry Key: 3R252I-S5RNTW *Please see attached "Specific Instructions for ProjNet" A. Registration for ProjNet Bidder Inquiry Access If you are already registered, go to Entering Bidder Inquiries in ProjNet Bidder Inquiry System below. 1. From the ProjNet home page linked above, click on Quick Add on the upper right side of the screen. 2. Identify the Agency. This should be marked as USACE. 3. Key. Enter the Bidder Inquiry Key listed above. 4. Email. Enter the email address you would like to use for communication. 5. Click Continue. A page will then open saying that a user account was not found and will ask you to create one using the provided form. 6. Enter your First Name, Last Name, Company, City, State, Phone, Email, Secret Question, Secret Answer, and Time Zone. Make sure to remember your Secret Question and Answer as they will be used from this point on to access the ProjNet system. 7. Click Add User. Once this is completed you are now registered within ProjNet and are currently logged into the system. B. Entering Bidder Inquiries in ProjNet Bidder Inquiry System 1. For future access to ProjNet, you will not be emailed any type of password. You will utilize your Secret Question and Secret Answer to log in. 2. From the ProjNet home page linked above, click on Quick Add on the upper right side of the screen. 3. Identify the Agency. This should be marked as USACE. 4. Key. Enter the Bidder Inquiry Key listed above. 5. Email. Enter the email address you used to register previously in ProjNet. 6. Click Continue. A page will then open asking you to enter the answer to your Secret Question. 7. Enter your Secret Answer and click Login. Once this is completed you are now logged into the system. 8. Follow online screen instructions to enter specific bidder inquiries for the project. C. Please review the Bidder Inquiry System for answers to questions prior to submission of a new inquiry. D. The call center operates weekdays from 8AM to 5PM U.S. Central Time Zone (Chicago). The telephone number for the Call Center is 800-428-HELP.
