Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The 136th Airlift Wing intends to issue an oral solicitation and award a firm-fixed price purchase order to Gauss Management Research And Engineering, Inc. (Cage Code: 47SD5) for Mobility Air Forces Ground Station Kits (MAF GS Kits) (Part No. 625K18001-10). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334220. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested persons may submit a notification of interest and capability to respond to this requirement to the Contracting Officer by email prior to the closing date and time for this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence, that competition will be advantageous to the Government.
