Description

Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD, intends to issue a sole source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to Lockheed Martin Corporation - Missiles Fire Control (LMMFC), Orlando, FL in support of the Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) and accessories for the U.S. Navy (USN) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. The Government contemplates a five year ordering period. The proposed action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements." Lockheed Martin is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the LRASM, and therefore is the only contractor with the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical data that can meet the Government's requirements on a timely basis and in a cost effective manner. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
