Description
T&Cs Compliance Matrix Price Matrix SOO GENERAL The U.S. Postal Service is seeking a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solution to improve operational productivity through the automated movement of palletized and/or rolling containers of mail within our mail processing facilities. The Postal Service plans to evaluate commercially available Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) that can load and unload a tractor trailer containing mail loaded on either plastic pallets (no wooden pallets) or wire containers that are typically loaded/unloaded by forklifts. An initial purchase of one unit of an AGV Pallet Truck is planned to evaluate and determine if AGV technology exists that will function as desired within mail processing operations. The Postal Service is also considering an AGV forklift as a second evaluation unit. While a COTS solution is preferred, some minimal customization may be acceptable. A firm-fixed price contract is planned based upon a best value determination using the evaluation factors provided in Provision 4-2 of the attached Terms and Conditions. Interested Suppliers shall submit a proposal in accordance with the attached Statement of Objectives (SOO), Price Matrix and Terms and Conditions. Proposal Requirements Proposals must include the following information to be considered responsive to this solicitation: 1. Technical proposal, including: a. Technical Capability i.
