Description

The VA is looking to identify contractors capable of providing two temporary staffing for high pressure generation plant for 9 months. Contractor employees must: maintain a current Stationary Operator s License in the State of Maryland at the Grade 1 level Has operated without supervision a steam pressure generation plant above 15 psi, with output capacity of greater than 500 boiler horsepower for at least one calendar year Be a legal U.S. resident Have A working knowledge of the following equipment Dual Fuel Boilers De-aeration Equipment Chemical injection and water sampling Combustion control equipment Feedwater pumps Condensate pumps Forced and Induced draft fans Practical knowledge of combustion controls, to ensure compliance with air emissions laws Exhaust Gas Economizers Fuel atomizers Responses to this action are informational only to assess interest in this requirement and possible set-asides.
