- The National Park Service (NPS) will issue a Prospectus soliciting proposals for the award of a Concession Contract to provide Lodging, Food & Beverage, Retail, and Other Services within the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. The Prospectus explains the business opportunity and the terms and conditions under which the NPS will award the Concession Contract. The Director has determined that no Preferred Offeror for this Draft Contract exists pursuant to the terms of 36 C.F.R. Part 51. This solicitation for commercial services is fully competitive. Any proposal, including that of the existing concessioner, must be received by the Chief of Concessions, Intermountain Region, National Park Service, 12795 West Alameda Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado 80228 by 4:00 p.m. MT on January 24, 2019, in order to be evaluated and considered for award of the Concession Contract. The Prospectus will be available at https://www.nps.gov/subjects/concessions/prospectuses.htm. Hard copies will be available upon request for a printing cost recovery charge. The fee is $35.00 per copy to be delivered via Federal Express or $30.00 per copy if picked up in person. Persons interested in obtaining a Prospectus should mail, or bring in person, a check or money order made payable to the NPS. (Cash will not be accepted.) You must include a physical address (no post office box) and a telephone number to receive a Federal Express package. Checks can be mailed to the Chief of Concessions, Intermountain Region, National Park Service, 12795 West Alameda Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado 80228. To be put on a contact list to receive amendments or any additional information specific to the Prospectus, interested parties must provide their contact information (name, email address, and phone number) to Jennifer Parker, Chief of Concessions, Intermountain Region, at the email address or phone number listed below. Information relative to the solicitation will also be posted to the above mentioned website. The contact list already includes the Existing Concessioner.
