Description
Statement of Work, outlining additional details. Combined Synopsis-Solicitation which outlines pertinent details of this requirement The Contractor shall provide for a total of forty-five (45) 6000-psi (6K) bottles of Nitrogen Gas (GN2) in accordance with MIL-P-27401, Type I, Grade B. Purity shall be 99.99% by volume, minimum. Impurities: 100 ppm by volume, MAX; Water 11.5 ppm, total hydrocarbons as Methane 5 ppm, Oxygen 50 ppm, Argon 20 ppm, Carbon Dioxide 5 ppm, Carbon Monoxide 5 ppm. Each individual bottle shall be tested and certified. Bottles shall be sealed with shrink-wrap after fill. The bottles shall be delivered inbottle racks accomodating ten (10) to fifteen (15) bottles per rack. Tanks are not to be in a manifold configuration. Documentation and certifications for each bottle shall be provided when delivered. The certifications will be provided to the MDA/TCT Forward Staging Area (FSA) Officer in Charge (OIC), MDA Senior Flight Test Engineer or the Hickam POC office as identified at time of delivery. Schedule for delivery is as follows: Thirty (30) Bottles provided NLT Thirty (30) Days ADC. Bottles will be transported from Hickam AFB HI to Andersen AFB Guam and returned to Hickam AFB on about 15 Dec 2018 for return to provider. The remaining fifteen (15) bottles will need to be delivered in the same manner as the first set, by 1 July 2019. Pickup for those bottles is tentatively scheduled for 15 Aug 2019 All bottles utilized for the 6000-psi shall be capable of being transportable by military air and/or commercial air and marked with the appropriate DOT markings. The bottles will have as a minimum a capability of being marked as DOT 3A. (MDA will verify DOT 3A sufficient prior to contract award.)
