- The Internal Revenue Services (IRS) intends to issue a purchase order with options on a sole source basis to Bigbie Electronics, Inc. for a quantity of one base year plus 2 option years. Bigbie Electionics, Inc. controls the approved location to provide radio antenna service in Savannah, GA adequately enough to support IRS, Criminal Investigation's agency transmissions. Based on the requirements of this Solicitation, the Government intends to solicit and award with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This notice is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation of offers. Any other interested organizations must express their interest, capabilities and qualifications to fulfill this requirement in writing submitted via email to the identified point of contact as soon as possible, but not later than 5:00 pm (EST) on September 24, 2018. No solicitation shall be issued, therefore, all request for the solicitation will be considered non-responsive. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement, on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. No formal solicitation package is available. THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This procurement is anticipated as a Sole Source effort. Also, this concern will result in a Purchase Order contract. NAICS: 334220- Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing, Antenna Lease Site, Savannah, GA. However, all interested parties who identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement, will be considered. Verification of email transmission is the sole responsibility of the contractor. All Treasury contractors are required to register in System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to receipt of award. All businesses doing business with the IRS are now subject to Tax Check, if found delinquent shall have a direct impact on ability to award to delinquent source. If no responses are received, an award shall be made to Bigbie Electronics, Inc.
