- PWS Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6-Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-100 Effective 22 Aug 2018. The synopsis/ solicitation number is W91ZLK-18-R-0089 for the Yearly Preventative Maintenance & Repair Services of Parker Hannifin Nitrogen Generators & Associated Parts. This requirement is being solicited as a Total Set-aside to Small business Concerns represented by NAICS Code 811219 (Other electronic and precision equipment repair and maintenance). The Government contemplates an award of a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) type contract and will be evaluated on the basis of Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Description of Requirements: The objective of this contract is to acquire full-service preventative maintenance support, and on-site repairs to the Parker Hannifin Nitrogen Generators & Associated Parts at the US Army CBRNE Analytical Remediation Activity (CARA) US, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Anticipated Period of Performance is one (1) year. For more specific information regarding this requirement, please refer to the Performance Work Statement (PWS) attached. Proposals shall be submitted in two (2) separate volumes: Volume I: PRICE Proposal Volume II: TECHNICAL Proposal ALL PROPOSALS SHALL BE SUBMITTED VIA EMAIL WITH THE SUBJECT LINE: W91ZLK-18-R-0089 PROPOSAL FROM (INSERT COMPANY NAME) Proposal Format: Volume I: Detailed Price Proposal - Provide quote for the listed Nitrogen generators in the PWS. Volume II: Technical Proposal will be evaluated based on the following factors. 1. The contractor shall be authorized and have certification and training from the OEM to perform maintenance, diagnostic checks, and repair. (Show proof). 2. Contractor shall be able to acquire Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts for all supported equipment. Contractor must achieve technically acceptable rating on all technical factors to be considered technically acceptable. Instructions to Offerors: Please provide a quotation addressing the requirement listed in the PWS. All quotations from responsible sources will be fully considered. Vendors who are not registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), www.sam.gov, database prior to award will not be considered.
