- An oral request for quotations will be solicited for the following item as a small purchase: Repair Kit, 2-Man Combat NSN: 8340-01-462-6490. Quantity of 2250 ea. The deliveries are required at VSTJ Pendergrass, GA beginning 120 days after award. Submittal of First Article is required 60 days after date of award. This acquisition will be solicited as a Small Business Set-Aside Basis. RFQ document can be obtained by contacting Nicholas Mallardi by e-mail at Nicholas.Mallardi@dla.mil, or by calling at 215-737-8665. This document will be available until October 3rd, 2018. Oral quotations will be requested at the same time of this announcement. The closing date for oral quotations is October 3rd, 2018. The Defense Appropriations and Authorization Acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as "The Berry Amendment") impose restrictions on the DOD's acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in 252.225-7014), including the materials and components thereof (other than sensors, electronics, or other items added to, and not normally associated with clothing), must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
