This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-100. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334510, Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 1250 employees. The Chillicothe VA Medical Center, 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, OH 45601-9718 is seeking to purchase one (1) each of the following: Ultrasound System Console, DICOM/Connectivity Software, Pinpoint GT Probe, Activation Key, Medical Equipment Roll Stand, Keyboard for console, vein block, and Tip Confirmation System. This combined synopsis/solicitation use a brand name or equal description of the products required. This permits prospective contractors to offer products other than those specifically referenced by brand name. Items called for have been identified by a brand name or equal description, such identification is intended to be descriptive, but not restrictive, and is to indicate the quality and characteristics of products that will be satisfactory. Contractor shall indicate on the quote how many days after receipt of an order (ARO) the items can be delivered. Delivery shall be to the Chillicothe VAMC, 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, OH 45601-9718. Award shall be made to the contractor whose quote offers the best value to the government, considering technical capability and price.
