- The US Coast Guard Base Miami Beach Procurement and Contracting intends to award a contract to GENCO for repair services of screens' windows and doors in Rio Bayamon, PR. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with GENCO under the authority of FAR 6.302-2 Unusual and Compelling Urgency. GENCO can meet all the requirements as per the SOW within specific location, reasonable price and within the time requirements of the unit. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
