Description
This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract for Ground Handling Cradle, NSN: 1730-01-250-9737, Part Number 17G230005-1 for the support of the F117-PW-100 (F117) engine used on the C-17 Globemaster III. The requirement is for a basic quantity of 64 each (includes First Article), Test Plan (1 LO), Test Report (1 LO), Tooling Analysis Report (1 LO). Additionally, there will be three option periods, Option I (10 each), Option II (10 each), and Option III (10 each). Delivery frequency for basic quantity is 3 each per month to begin 120 calendar days after approval of First Article or 120 calendar days after contract award if First Article requirement is waived. Place of Performance will be at the contractor's facility. This requirement will be a competitive total Small Business set-aside using source selection procedures. For details on the source selection please see the RFP's Section L and M requirements. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance the instructions contained in the RFP, attachments, and Section L and M requirements. All responsible Small Business sources may submit a proposal to be considered by the Contracting agency. The Government will utilize the Supplier Performance Risk System, Federal Awardee Performance and Integrity Information System, Excluded Parties List System, and other Government databases to determine contractor status. Proposals will be evaluated based on criteria stated in the RFP. We anticipate release of the RFP on or around 05 Oct 2018 with an estimated response date of 45 days after release of RFP. The RFP and all attachments will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage ( http://www.fbo.gov/ ).
