Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 6, 100 Emancipation Drive, Hampton, VA 23667, intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price Service Contract to Omnicell for the VAMC Fayetteville, North Carolina ANNUAL SERVICE AGREEMENT FOR ANESTHESIA WORKSTATION SERVICE AGREEMENT 10/1/2018-9/30/2019. This contract action is for items for which the Government intends to solicit from only one source under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 811219 with a small business size standard of $20.5M. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. Responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement by submitting such information by 8/19/2018 12N, EST. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). An authorized dealer/distributor letter must be submitted with supporting evidence. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be used to determine acquisition strategy. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.
