Description

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville, Florida intends to solicit vendors capable of providing a new roller curtain door and motor drive assembly upgrade for the USS Fort McHenry LSD-43. Additional detailed information is provided on the attached material description. THIS IS A PRE-SOLICIATION NOTICE ONLY: This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals. This is a pre-solicitation notice that a solicitation is scheduled to be released via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov). The complete Description of Requirement (DOR) will be provided in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The anticipated release date of the RFQ is on or about 14 September 2018. The Navy intends to solicit for a Firm Fixed Priced contract. No solicitation document exists at this time. The RFQ will be made available electronically at the Federal Business Opportunities (www.fedbizopps.gov) and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (www.neco.navy.mil) web sites. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to independently review the referenced websites frequently for updates. No paper copies of these documents will be issued. Offerors must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be considered for award (www.sam.gov).This procurement will be issued as UNRESTRICTED and is identified under NAICS Code 332999 with the small business size standard being 750 employees.
