MECHANICAL INVENTORY REPLACEMENT SPARE PARTS LIST INVENTORY MECHANICAL SPARE PARTS SUPPORT BLANKET PRUCHASE AGREEMENT (BPA) STATEMENT of WORK (SOW) The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is issuing sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement as a dedicated supplier for Replenishing Inventory Mechanical Spare Parts. The result of this market research will contribute in the intent of establishing a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is: • 333244 - Printing Machinery & Equipment Manufacturing There is no solicitation at this time. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Scope of work: The objective of this effort is to establish a non-personal services support to replenish inventory mechanical spare parts that are being maintained by BEP Currency Manufacturing Warehouse facilities. These parts are critical in maintenance, repair, and operability of the timeworn highly specialized currency manufacturing equipment: Super Simultan (Offset) presses, Intaglio (I-10 and Super Orlof Intaglio) presses, COPE (Currency Overprinting and Packaging) presses, and the LEPE (Large Examination and Printing Equipment) presses. This is a Sources Sought notice (hereinafter Notice). This is NOT a solicitation, request for proposals, proposal abstracts, request for bids or quotations, nor, a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. The purpose of this Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The lists of parts is uploaded in order to review the specifications of the parts and the Statement of Work (SOW) for the proposed BPA. Responses to this Notice will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method and determining interest and capability of potential vendors for this type of requirement. If your organization has the full potential capacity to perform this service, please provide the following: 1. Vendor's DUNS number, organization name, address, size and type of business (e.g., 8(a), HUBZone, etc) pursuant to the applicable NAICS code; 2. Vendor's technical and administrative points of contact, including names, titles, addresses, telephone and fax numbers, and e-mail addresses; 3. Staff expertise and their availability, experience, and formal/other training 4. Current in-house capability and capacity to perform the work; 5. Prior completed projects of similar nature; 6. Examples of prior completed Government contracts, references, and other related information; 7. Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort; 8. As applicable, please identify GSA schedule and SIN category. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small business or procured through full and open competition, and multiple awards may be made. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.
