- SOLICITATION/ REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) W91CRB-18-Q-5014 THIS IS A SOLICITATION/ REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ). The purpose of Solicitation W91CRB-18-Q-5014 is to fulfill a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement for the Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD), and FMS Case AR-B-UAE, ARP PS18022, for the Country of ARGENTINA. The proposed action is for a "BRAND NAME ONLY" supply contract to purchase Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) Mobat MICOM COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT, pursuant to the authority granted via 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(c), which describes the use of brand names in sole-source acquisitions. Mobat MICOM BRAND has unique features that are required for INTEROPERABILITY WITH EXISTING EQUIPMENT; NO OTHER BRAND SHALL BE CONSIDERED. A Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Contract may be awarded to the Lowest-Priced Technically-Acceptable (LPTA) offeror for items detailed in attached Solicitation W91CRB-18-Q-5014 and the Solicitation Statement of Work (SOW), Section C therein.
