Description

Brand Name Determination The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, The Dalles Dam Project, intends to award a contract on a sole-source bases to Manta Test Systems for one Manta MTS-5011 protective relay test system. The contract will result in a firm-fixed price purchase order. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. All interest and capability statements must be received by the Government no later than 19 September 2018 at 12:00 PST to be considered. The basis of the sole source to Manta Test Systems is outlined in the Brand Name Determination attached. No solicitation will be posted.
