- SOCA Synopsis of Contract Action (SOCA) For L3 Technologies (L3T), INC. This is a Synopsis of Contract Action (SOCA); this is not a solicitation for proposals and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this SOCA or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this SOCA is to notify industry of the US Air Force's intent of contract action and possibly gain knowledge of other potentially qualified sources and their size classifications (small business, large business, etc.) Please do not request a copy of solicitation, as one does not exist. The statutory authority which permits other than full and open competition for this acquisition is 10 United States Code (USC) 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A). Synopsis of Contract Action: The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Contracting Directorate (AFTC/PZIEA), Edwards AFB,CA intends to issue a sole-source contract to L3 Technologies, Inc. for Telemetry Support Products that are required on Edwards, AFB and other DOD agencies throughout the Major Range and Test Facility Ranges. The anticipated contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) sole source contract under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-100 using FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation procedures; Soliciting from a Single Source to L3 Technologies, Inc. 1515 Grundy's Ln Bristol, Pennsylvania 19007-1506. The applicable NAICS code is 334220 and the size standard, as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration, is 1,250 employees. The following items being procured are customized to the Government's needs: ADU-1000, P/N 20012601-501 (5 ea.) LIM-135A-MDM-SP10 (LIM with 2 cables) P/N 70005135-503 (3 ea.), LIM-BAT-135A-MDM, P/N 70005176-503 (2 ea.), LIM-BAT-135A-SP10 (For use with SP10-135A-SK (-503), version only) (2 ea.).
