- **NOTE** REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) N00167-18-Q-0098 - AMENDMENT #0001: Amendment #0001 to the subject RFQ, dated 11 September 2018, was issued for the sole purpose of extending the identified closing date for receipt of quotes. The initially identified closing date of 30 August 2018 is hereby extended to 2:00 PM Pacific Time on 21 September 2018. All interested parties are instructed to review the previously provided posting below, as well as the initial RFQ and the RFQ Amendment provided as attachments to this notice. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the provision and delivery of a quantity of one (1) Diesel-Powered Electric Range Craft Barge (RCB) Generator in support of NSWCCD Detachment (Det) Puget Sound in Silverdale, WA. The required supply shall be provided in accordance with the information contained in the attached solicitation and any/all associated specifications, revisions, and/or attachments. This requirement is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in the RFQ. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The subject solicitation is being issued as RFQ #N00167-18-Q-0098, as attached to this announcement. It is anticipated that the resultant award will be issued as a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order (PO). This procurement is being solicited on an unrestricted basis under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 335312 - "Motor and Generator Manufacturing" with an associated Small Business Size Standard of 1,250 employees. Offers will be evaluated on the basis of the Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable offer, taking in to consideration past performance. The closing date and time for receipt of offers in response to the subject RFQ is 02:00 P.M. Pacific Time on 21 September 2018, unless a different date/time is specified in the solicitation. Offerors wishing to submit a quote are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at www.fbo.gov and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the solicitation. A bidders list will not be maintained by this office and no telephone or facsimile requests for the RFQ will be accepted. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and any associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render vendor offers nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. Any questions must be submitted in writing via e-mail to Ms. Gracie Johnson at gracie.johnson@navy.mil at least three (3) business days prior to solicitation closing.
