- The Department of Veterans SAO West, Network Contracting Office 19, located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to enter into sole source purchase order, authorized by FAR 13.106- 1(b), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price purchase order to the large business manufacturer, ProVation Medical, Inc., located at 800 Washington Ave N STE 400, Minneapolis, MN 55401-1183. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 511210 and the Business Size Standard is $38.5M. The Salt Lake City Veterans Health Care System is in the need to establish a long term maintenance agreement for the ProVation software being used in the GI and Pulmonary Clinics. Gastroenterology (GI) and Pulmonary Image Management and Documentation Software is used to provide storage and management for patient diagnostic images, information and forms. The software maintenance is needed to cover the systems in case of maintenance or repairs/updates. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the U.S. Government. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4:00 PM Mountain Standard Time, Wednesday, September 12th, 2018. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government.
