- The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) has a need for: The Pittsburg VA Medical Center has a need for a Recumbent Stepper Brand name or Equal. The government is seeking all interested vendors; and specifically, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) in accordance with Vets First and the Rule of 2 (Kingdomware decision). If interested, please provide: All SDVOSB and VOSB firms that respond shall include proof of CVE certification via www.vip.vetbiz.gov. All small business firms that respond shall include proof of small business status via their Representations and Certifications in accordance with (FAR 4.1102 Policy). While SDVOSB/VOSB contractors are preferred, all capable contractors are welcome to respond. Please reply with the following: The veteran business must be registered in SAM and certified in VETBIZ (VIP). The small businesses must be registered in SAM. All Vendors interested in, and with the capability and capacity to fulfill this requirement, are required to furnish the following minimum information in reply to this sources sought: Company Name,, address, Government Business Point of Contact, telephone number and email address. Company DUNS number, CAGE Code, and Tax ID numbers. Identify any current Federal Supply Schedule, GSA Contracts held, if none then state that no FSS/GSA schedules are held. Responses shall be submitted electronically, via email to Nicholas Snyder Nicholas.snyder2@va.gov due no later Friday 09/12/2018 at 1:00 pm. The Physical and Kinesio Therapy departments requires a replacement brand name or equal SciFit Recumbent Steppers because the current model operates with parts that are now discontinued. If the unit requires repair, it will not be possible. Physical therapy treats greater than 75 patients per week and Kinesio therapy treats greater than 100 patients per week who benefit from use of the recumbent steppers. The salient characteristics of the required device include: 68L X 30W (E5), SCIFIT Total Body Recumbent Stepper - oversized/bariatric/fixed height seat The low impact StepOne recumbent stepper provides smooth, total body functional exercise. StepOne has low starting resistance, wheelchair access, natural movement and a step range that provides patterning similar to walking or climbing stairs. The belt drive provide a smooth, quite workout. The oversized seat sits on a flat, horizontal monorail, making it easy to move back and forth. The seat slides off easily for direct wheelchair access. Multiple adjustments fit StepOne to any user. The arm length adjusts from 1 to 12 inches and hand grips can be positioned within a 60 degree range. 600 lb user weight
