- Amendment 0001 is issued to extend the required date to 09/17/2018 at 1700 CT and correct the list of required services as follows: - Inmarsat - Iridium - Ka-Band - Ku-Band - Swift 64 Service (Generation 3, carried on I-4 satellite) (End of Life 2020) - Classic Aero-H+ Service (Generation 4) - Swift Broadband (Generation 4) See attached revised RFQ 6973GH-18-Q-00107, Amendment 0001 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has a requirement for the acquisition for Satellite Communications subscription service. National Airways Systems Engineering (AJW-3920) has a requirement for the Aeronautical Satellite Communications (SATCOM) subscription to support Hanger 6 Gulfstream G-IV aircraft N1, N2 and N3 for domestic and international missions for a one-year period from October 1, 2018 - September 30, 2109. The SATCOM service must provide subscription for aeronautical satellite communications incorporating all required services to include: - Inmarsat - Iridium - Ku-band - Swift 64 Service (Generation 3) - Classic Aero-H Service (Generation 3) - classic Aero-H+ Service (Generation 4) The communication equipment installed on the aircraft has specifically designed electronics that only allow for receipt of transmissions broadcast by SATCOM s satellite and land based equipment. The subscription service is specifically required for compatibility with the satellite communications equipment that is currently installed on the FAA s Gulfstream G-IV N1, N2 and N3, to support agency dignitary domestic and international missions. All aircraft components must be type certificated in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulation (14 CFR) procedures set for under Certification Parts 23, 25, 27 and 29 which states, For new, amended and supplemental type certificates (STC) under 14 CFR Parts 23, 25, 27 and 29, the cognizant FAA Aircraft Certification Officer (ACO) and the service provided will meet the FAA s requirement. It is anticipated that the Government will award one Firm Fixed Price Award to the lowest price responsible responsive offeror that meet the required specifications as referenced in the Request for Quote (RFQ). All interested sources should first attempt to download the attached RFQ. If downloading is not possible, all requests for copies of the RFQ documents(s) must be made in writing to the attention of Sherrie Files, Contracting Officer (AAQ-732), via e-mail at sherrie.files@faa.gov. All quotes/proposals must be received by the FAA no later than 5:00 P.M. CST, September 14, 2018. Must be submitted electronically to sherrie.files@faa.gov. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred for preparing responses to this request. Therefore, any costs associated with the RFP are solely at the interested vendor s expense. All vendors must be registered in SAM Registry website (www.sam.gov) for consideration of this award.
