Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source The Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center, One Freedom Way, Augusta GA 30904-6258 intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Veterans Healthcare Supply Solutions Inc, a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, VAAR 819.7007 and VAAR 819.7008, for the procurement of a blood perfusion imager based on laser speckle contrast analysis technology, specifically, the PeriCam PSI HR (including FireWire card); Desktop PC; and PIMSoft software and on-site training. The PeriCam system is being contemplated since it is able to analyze in real time, from a live subject, without thinning or removing a section of skull. This sole source is made in accordance with VAAR 819.7007, titled Sole source awards to a verified service-disabled veteran-owned small business may be made. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; merely a notice of the intent to sole source per VAAR 819.7007. Any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting this requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Thursday, September 13, 2018 12:00 PM (NOON) ET. Interest/capability statements may be sent to Linda Buccigrossi at linda.buccigrossi@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
