Description

DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS NETWORK CONTRACTING OFFICE (NCO) 16 REQUEST FOR INFORMATION 36C25618U0439 BACKGROUND: RFID Storage integrated with UDI Tracker Software application Must have a national Memorandum of Understanding and Interconnection Security Agreement with Department of Veteran Affairs Software and Units are needed to track, store tissue and implantable devices and automate logging of addition/removal of items to UDI Tracker tissue/implant tracking software. The purpose of this procurement is to establish a solution for implant and clinical supply tracking, to include all software, licensing, and user manuals, as well as training, hardware peripheral devices and supplies. The solution is required to meet all FDA, Joint Commission, and other healthcare standard practice guidelines, regulations, and laws. Software, Equipment, training, installation, design, configuration to be provided by contractor. Power and internet connection to be provided by facility in accordance with national ISA/MOU for Champion Healthcare Technologies. Specifications/Characteristics: The contractor shall provide a solution for clear tracking of all implants and supply items tracked within the system, to include point of receipt by VA to point of implant or use on a patient. A complete chain of custody on each item tracked, using a unique device identifier, must be maintained. The contractor shall insure that the manufacturer, manufacturer item number, expiration date, and lot number of each component item is traceable. Other Unique Requirements Technical/security/connection requirements are outlined in national ISA/MOU- Champion Healthcare Technologies.
