- JA Sole source Justification specs are listed This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested. The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC) intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to PROAIM Americas, LLC. d/b/a: PROAIM Medical P.O. Box 724 Grover, MO. 63040 for the acquisition of a ZEISS OS IOLMASTER 700 w/swept source OCT, Option Reference Image, includes keyboard, mouse and printer. This testing device is essential for the continuity of the patient care based on protocols. This equipment is essential in the continuing the continuity of care/clinical research in an ophthalmic research environment. This equipment request is essential that will migrate with our existing Zeiss IOLMaster 700 testing device (used on our current study 15-EI-0020 patient population) is the only approved testing device for our current studies and standard of care ocular axial length measurement. This equipment request is essential in measuring axial length using a non-contact method of testing, which allows the determination of our study patient's retinal, optic nerve pathology • The system must be an upgrade to replace our NEI owned outdate 500 system • The system must be approved for EMMES and NEI run protocols This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of the FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i) allowing the Contracting Officer (CO) to solicit from one source. Interested concerns capable of providing the same or similar products or services as described in this notice may submit a capability statement outlining their capabilities. Capability Statements must be received within the time set forth in this synopsis to be considered by the Government. A determination to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NACIS 334510.
