- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT. The Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), Office of Contracts (OMS/C) located at 330 Independence Avenue S.W., Washington, District of Columbia 20237 intends to negotiate and award a non-competitive contract to Continental Electronics Corporation 4212 S. Buckner Blvd. Dallas, Texas 72557, for the acquisitions of the coil assembly parts. The anticipated period of performance is September 21, 2018 through August 20, 2018. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition that is applicable to this procurement is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) which is implemented at FAR Subpart 6.302-1 as follows: "When the supplies or services required by the agency available from only one responsible source or for DoD, NASA, and the Coast Guard, from only one or limited number of responsible sources, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, full and open competition need not be provided for." The Office of Contracts (OMS/C) at the BBG, plans to make an award to Continental Electronics Corporation on a sole-source basis for the following items: 1.Coil Assembly- P/N 138861-1 QTY. 3 2.Coil Assembly Water Cooled- P/N 138037-2 QTY. 1 3.Tube Socket Assembly- P/N 138229-1 QTY. 1 4.Plate Coil Assembly- P/N 138457-1 QTY.1 Interested firms must submit in a written response that demonstrates their technical capability and specifications to provide the coil assembly parts listed above. Interested firms must state how they would comply with the Government's requirements to include appropriate supporting documentation. The written response received from interested firms shall provide sufficient detail to allow for an evaluation by the Government without the need for the submission of additional information. The written response must be submitted to the attention of Malita Dyson, Contract Support Specialist via E-mail at mdyson@bbg.gov. Telephone or fax responses are NOT acceptable and will NOT be considered: No telephone response of an interested firm's statements of interest, capabilities, and pertinent experience will be accepted by the BBG. Any questions regarding this Notice of Intent shall be in writing and submitted to via e-mail. Any determination to compete or not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. All written expressions of interest shall specifically reference this Notice by its title and date of publication.
