Description

Solicitation 36C24618Q9647 Notice of Intent to Sole Source reference FAR 6.302-1. The Hampton VA Contracting Office NC06 is procuring an Government Scientific Source, Inc. for Avoximeter 4000 for the Asheville VAMC located 1100 Tunnel Road Asheville, North Carolina 28805. The Hampton VA Contracting Office NC06 intends to award on a sole source basis, IAW 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, and Public Law (PL) 109-461, a contract to Government Scientific Source, Inc.. 12351 Sunrise Valley Dr. Reston, VA, 20191-3415 as a responsible source to provide the above-mentioned items. The total award amount is estimated to be $32,289.00 The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. Public Law (PL) 109-461 requires VA to increase contracting and subcontracting opportunities for SDVOSBs and VOSBs. The applicable NAICS Code is 334516 and the size standard is 1000 employees. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation or a solicitation of offers. However, all quotes received by September 7th, 2018 at 4:00PM of the publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement upon receipt of response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. There will be no solicitation available.
