Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FAR 6.302-1(c) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2, Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract to GE Medical Information Systems Technologies, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(c): "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed procurement is a software upgrade form GE MUSE v.8 to v.9. as well as an upgrade to existing CardioDay software for all facilities that comprise Veterans Integrated Systems Network 2 (VISN2). Further, this requirement includes installation, training, testing and all required licenses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541519 and the size standard is $27.5M. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider responses received by 4:00pm Eastern on September 10, 2018. Inquiries will only be accepted via email to edward.lyke@va.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
