- Combined Synopsis Tech specs (300) 5' Precast Lava Rock Barriers (36) 8' Jesey Barriers See Technical Requirements 20180904 document for specifications, drawings, and pictures. See Combined Synopsis 20180904 for additional information. Precast Constant Slope (Lava Rock) Barrier Requirements: 1. (300) Precast Constant Slope barriers, shall incorporate a Simulated Lava Rock Texture and Color that presents an aesthetically appealing exterior finish on both sides. 2. Size: 5 Feet Long x 1.5 feet Wide x 3 feet tall. 3. Barriers shall be constructed with reinforced ½ inch rebar. 4. Barriers shall be constructed with minimum of 4,000 psi concrete with local aggregates. 5. Barriers shall include forklifting pockets on the face of the barrier, bottom side, for handling 6. 18" Solid yellow reflectors on both the face and rear of the barrier with 2" recess. 7. 4" Solid yellow reflectors on both ends with 2" recess. 8. Barriers shall include recessed reflective taping (2" wide, three sides, both face and ends) which provides distance recognition during low light visibility on the top surface. Precast 8' New Jersey Barriers Requirements: 1. (36) Precast New Jersey barriers with commercial grade gray finish. 2. Size: 8 Feet Long x 2 feet Wide x 3 feet tall. 3. Barriers shall be constructed with reinforced with Grade 60 rebar. 4. Barriers shall be constructed with minimum of 4,000 psi concrete with local aggregates. 5. Barriers shall have flat bottoms and include forklifting pockets on the face of the barrier, bottom side for handling 6. 2" wide reflective tape bands on the top of the face and rear of each barrier. 7. 2" wide reflective tape as space permits on the ends of each barrier. 8. Galvanized loops on the ends of the barriers for pinning and site connection
